Thankyou for your advise. I went to Jessops and had a good play about with all the camera’s I was interested in, and decided on the Panasonic TZ3 The pictures I took of my son were amazing… Even took some of him running, and the capture was great. I Used the longest Zoom without a tripod and it was perfect. Also I took pictures of a red and blue sign with all the cameras and without a doubt the Panasonic came up trumps giving beautiful colours and crispness. On the canon the colours were dull and the red was bleeding in to the blue. All my trials were done on the basic settings on all cameras, with exception to the running snap, so it would be fair. Rioch R7 was the worst camera out of the lot of them Totally couldnt handle pictures indoors, and the full zoom gave a blurred picture. For me the TZ3 was perfect, and did everything I wanted it to do, and then some. It was easy to manage, and most importantly I will finally get some decent pics of my son.
